How this hydroponic home grow kit works:

The image above of the spiral home garden consists of a center pipe that water flows up into to the top and then runs down in the winding spiral pipe to every hydroponic plant/herb and then to the bottom where a holding tank is a receptacle.

The “ovals” on the spiral pipe are where we have drilled holes and where you would insert the organic growth cups with plants or seeds in. This should be watered every 2 hours for a minimum of 4 minutes.

The spacing of the spirals is 1 foot apart, and this allows for us to add red and blue growth LEDs above each plant. This stimulates the growth cycle and increases photosynthesis dramatically. (It also looks great at nighttime!) Both the LEDs and the water supply have digital timers with programming options on them.

Your professional Hydroponic home garden will consist of the following:

2. Watering system on timers
   • Flexible scheduling lets you water as often as every hour, up to 24 times a day or as little as once a week
   • Automatically waters for as little as 1 minute up to 6 hours
   • Simple to use Manual option lets you easily access the faucet whenever you need to run the water

4. Enhanced growth LED lighting
   • Aim to place your LED grow lights six to 12 inches from your plants. This will give your plants the right amount of light without overheating them.
   • Turn your lights off about eight hours per day. As a general rule of thumb, you’ll want to use your LED lights for growing about 12-16 hours each day.
   • Don’t be afraid to change your light configuration. You may find that moving your lights or increasing or reducing the amount of time they’re on by an hour or two can create a dramatic difference in overall growth.
5. Your selection of starter seeds or plants/herbs
   
   Note: You can include in your order your selection of up to 12 options from our seeds or young sprouts selections. We have a healthy wide selection of herbs or vegetables or plants that you may pick from to get you started.
